Grapes Variety: 70% Grenache gobelet, 30% Syrah
Terroir: The area of Minervois La Livinière is located in the heart of the Minervois, in the upper part of the appellation. On the rocky hills of the Causse Mountain, this slatey terroir benefits from an exceptional combination of Mediterranean sun and coolness of the Causse Mountain. The parcel is a unique, at 350 meters in altitude made of schist.
Wines making: Grapes are selected and harvested manually, then a gentle vinification to preserve the fruitiness and the natural complexity of the grapes. Aging in French oak barrels for 10-12 months.
Tasting notes: Ruby colour with violet hue. Powerful aromas of warm spices, rose and violet notes. The mouth is ample and creamy, refined tannins, good balance of oak and very elegant. Notes of scrubland (rosemary, cist), white pepper and truffle. The wine is fresh and elegant.
